Welcome to the website of the newly founded photography club Sisters in Photography.

The group Sisters in Photography was founded in 2024 during an exhibition organized by Czech-German photographer, publisher of the photo magazine Photonews and curator Denis Brudna. The exhibition had to be postponed due to technical reasons, but this moment eventually led to the creation of a group of women with the aim of supporting and motivating each other in a common passion for photography, creative play, experimentation and research. The members are united by a concentrated artistic production, although their works are thematically diverse. The group is made up of women of multiple generations and would like to become an open platform for presenting joint exhibitions and projects at home and abroad (possibly with invited guests).

Spolek Sisters in Photography vznikl v roce 2024 při příležitosti výstavy, kterou inicioval česko-německý fotograf, vydavatel časopisu Photonews a kurátor Denis Brudna. Výstava musela být z technických důvodu odložena, ale tento moment nakonec vedl ke vzniku skupiny žen s cílem se podporovat a motivovat ve společném zaujetí pro fotografii, tvůrčí hru, experiment, výzkum. Členky spojuje soustředěná umělecká tvorba, byť jejich práce jsou tematicky různorodé. Spolek tvoří ženy více generací a rád by se stal otevřenou platformou pro prezentaci společných výstav a projektů doma i v zahraničí (případně i s přizvanými hosty).
