Viola Hertelová
Viola Hertelová (1996) studied both Architecture (FA VUT, Brno) and Photography (ITF SLU, Opava), and her work consistently explores the critical dimensions of the photographic document at the intersection of these two fields. In her personal projects, exhibited also internationally (Rovinj, Gröninger), she examines contemporary urban public spaces. Her architectural photographs have appeared in magazines such as Dolce Vita, Dezeen, and ArchDaily. In 2025, she received the title Czech Photography Personality Under 30. She is currently expanding the topic of visual architectural interpretation through her theoretical PhD research. Viola is a member of the collective 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media and has also contributed curatorially to the Czech photography magazine FOTO.

Viola Hertelová (1996) vystudovala architekturu (FA VUT, Brno) i fotografii (ITF SLU, Opava) a na hranici obou oborů se dlouhodobě věnuje převážně kritickým polohám obrazového dokumentu. Ve svých volných souborech, které byly vystaveny také mezinárodně (Rovinj, Gröninger), ohledává převážně veřejné prostory soudobých měst. Její snímky architektury se objevily v magazínech Dolce Vita, Dezeen či Archdaily. V roce 2025 obdržela titul Osobnost české fotografie do 30 let. Aktuálně téma vizuální architektonické interpretace uchopuje komplexněji v teoretickém PhD výzkumu. Viola je členkou kolektivu 4AM fórum pro architekturu a média a kurátorsky se podílela také na tvorbě českého časopisu FOTO.
